According to the listings available this Friday, Ticketmaster offers the most economical ticket at $5,904, corresponding to a seat in a corner of the fourth level of the stadium. At the opposite end, the most expensive seat reaches $52,650, located in a VIP area near the Patriots’ band. For its part, StubHub, a secondary market platform, sells its cheapest ticket at $6,120, while the maximum price amounts to $36,431, also in a preferential sector near the Seahawks area. Another option, TickPick, presents tickets from 5,649 dollars in high stadium areas, with prices reaching up to 32,815 dollars in premium locations. According to these platforms, the average price of tickets for Super Bowl LX is around $8,200, a figure only surpassed by the 2024 Super Bowl LVIII, held in Las Vegas, where the average exceeded $9,000 per ticket a week and a half before the event. In comparison, the average for Super Bowl LIX held in New Orleans was around $8,076 in the same pre-event period. The constant increase in the cost of tickets reflects the growing magnitude of the most-watched sporting event in the United States. In the first edition of the Super Bowl, in 1967, the average price was 12 dollars, a figure that adjusted for inflation would exceed 100 dollars today.
