Punta Cana Airport receives “The Best of DR 2025” award from Mercado Magazine

La Altagracia.- Punta Cana Airport (PUJ) was awarded the “The Best of DR 2025” award as Travel Experience in the “Services” category, an award that places the airport as one of the most influential organizations in the country. The award, which has been presented by Revista Mercado for 17 years, was given by Sarah De Moya, Sales Director of Mercado Media Network, and received by Giovanni Rainieri, Airside Operations Director of the Airport. The PUJ award is part of the special edition of “The Best of DR” (Lo Mejor de RD), from Revista Mercado, a publication in which the editors highlight the best market offer within the editorial axes, such as gastronomy, entertainment, art and culture, shopping and fashion, sports, business and services.

“Thanks to our collaborators for their dedication and to our passengers for allowing us to be part of their trips. This award is a commitment to continue connecting their dreams with our future,” said Giovanni Rainieri, Airside Operations Director of the Airport.

This year 2025, The Best of DR celebrated the trajectory of the protagonists, who, “with their mark have contributed to making the Dominican Republic a country with a very high quality offer in all areas of our editorial content,” explained the organizers.
