Santo Domingo.– As part of Operation Quisqueya Solidaria 2026, the Government of the Dominican Republic, under instructions from the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, ordered the shipment of a significant cargo of medicines to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, transported on an aircraft of the Dominican Republic Air Force (FARD), in support of the population affected by the recent earthquakes.
n” “nThe air mission was coordinated by the Ministry of Defense, in a joint effort with the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MISPAS) and the Essential Medicines Program and Central Logistics Support (PROMESE/CAL), institutions that worked in a coordinated manner in the identification, selection, preparation, and dispatch of the medicines sent to address the most urgent needs derived from this emergency.
