Pueblo Viejo, Azua.– In fulfillment of her role of fiscalization and legislative representation, the congresswoman for the province Grey Pérez, Grey Pérez, made a supervisory visit to the construction works of the high school in the municipality of Pueblo Viejo, a work considered key to the strengthening of the educational system in this demarcation.

During the tour, the congresswoman reported that, in addition to monitoring the progress of the infrastructure, she formally requested that an Experimental High School of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) operate in this educational center, an initiative that would allow students to access a higher quality education and facilitate the continuity of their studies at a higher level.

Pérez highlighted that he was able to verify significant progress in the works, assuring that the project is in its final phase and that its inauguration is scheduled for the coming months, according to the schedule established by the competent authorities. “Very soon we will be delivering, together with our Government, this modern educational center, so that our students can be trained in infrastructures with adequate conditions, that guarantee their physical integrity and contribute to improving their academic performance,” said the legislator. The congresswoman reiterated her commitment to continue monitoring the correct execution of public works for the benefit of education, while reaffirming her support for initiatives that strengthen the education system and promote the integral development of the youth of the municipality of Pueblo Viejo.
