Los Angeles.- Disney announced this Wednesday the releases of the live-action version of ‘Lilo & Stitch 2’ and ‘The Incredibles 3’ (‘Los increíbles 3’), which will arrive in theaters on May 26 and June 16, 2028, respectively. Both films will be part of the summer catalog of the entertainment giant, which is also preparing the third installment of ‘Monsters Inc.’ (‘Monsters S.A.’) for its return to the big screen in 2028. The sequel to ‘Lilo & Stitch’ draws on the success of the first installment, which premiered worldwide on May 23rd and set a new record as the highest-grossing opening weekend in a four-day weekend – Memorial Day weekend – in United States history. The film, based on the animated film of the same name released in 2002, tells the story of a lonely Hawaiian girl who befriends a fugitive extraterrestrial who helps her rebuild ties with her family.
