National Police investigates case of man wounded by a gunshot in La Vega; perpetrators were identified

La Vega. – Members of the Regional Sub-Directorate of Investigations of Crimes Against Persons (Homicides) of the National Police are investigating an incident in which Nelson Darío Betances, 34 years old, was injured by a firearm in this city. He receives medical attention at a health center after presenting a gunshot wound to the neck area, according to a medical diagnosis. According to preliminary information, the perpetrators of the act were identified, however, no further details are offered so as not to hinder the course of the investigation In the investigative process, members of the Scientific Police conducted the corresponding survey at the scene, where 9mm caliber casings were collected as evidence.
