Santo Domingo.– Urban artist EthanAlexx continues to solidify his rise in music with the release of “Otaku”, a single that has quickly connected with the public and is already positioned in the Top 10 of the most played songs of the summer of 2026 on the main radio monitoring charts and stations in the Dominican Republic, New York, and Colombia.
The track fuses tropical and urban rhythms, accompanied by a modern image and a unique identity. Inspired by the Japanese word otaku, used to describe those passionate about anime and Japanese pop culture, EthanAlexx transforms that concept into a fresh, authentic production aimed at a generation connected to global trends.
“From day one, I believed in ‘Otaku’. It’s a different track, with an international vibe and its own identity. Together with my team, we wanted to create a song that people would enjoy and a video that everyone could relate to. Thanks to the public’s support, today we are seeing the results,” expressed EthanAlexx.
The single features a high-level audiovisual proposal, filmed in various locations in Monte Cristi, highlighting the majesty of its landscapes, beaches, and natural attractions. In this way, it also becomes a window to promote tourism in that province and show the world one of the most beautiful areas of the Dominican Republic.
The audiovisual production was under the direction of Luis Gómez Film, a renowned filmmaker and winner of the Soberano Award in the Best Audiovisual category, who captured a cinematic proposal that complements the strength and identity of the track.
