Paz replaces the Minister of the Presidency and proposes him as Bolivia’s ambassador to the OAS

La Paz.- The president of Bolivia, Rodrigo Paz, swore in a new Minister of the Presidency this Monday to replace economist José Luis Lupo, whom he proposed as his country’s new ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS).

In a ceremony at the Government House in La Paz, the president made the announcement regarding Lupo’s appointment, which must be approved by the Senate, after swearing in Fernando Aramayo, who until now was Bolivia’s foreign minister, as the new Minister of the Presidency.

Paz also swore in lawyer Héctor Huanca as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs, who until this Monday was the Vice Minister of Consular and Institutional Management.
