La Vega. – In a forceful action against illicit trade and in defense of intellectual property, agents of the Regional Intelligence Sub-Directorate (Dintel) of the National Police, in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, carried out a raid on a store in the municipality of La Vega where more than 1,500 units of counterfeit footwear of the renowned international brand CROCS were seized.
The operation was executed by order of judicial order No. 2025-AJ0029291, at the store “Exitazo”, located on Gregorio Rivas Avenue No. 152, Los Pomos sector, following an investigation that identified that establishment as a point of sale for counterfeit goods to the detriment of the company CROCS INC.
The intervention was led by the Attorney General of the Court, from the Intellectual Property and Eradication of Illicit Trade Unit. The Rapid Action Unit of La Vega also participated, reinforcing the security device during the operation.

As a result of the raid, 1,567 units of counterfeit CROCS-type footwear were seized, in different colors and presentations, which were retained as evidence for the corresponding judicial process.
Authorities reported that investigations remain open with the aim of identifying possible networks involved in the distribution and marketing of counterfeit products.
