Santo Domingo.– The passing of businessman and environmentalist Ignacio Joga Isa has caused deep sorrow among family members and collaborators, who highlight his career dedicated to social service and the defense of the environment.
n” “nThe businessman, president of Óptica Almánzar and the Mundo Verde Foundation, passed away at 67 after being found on a beach in the municipality of Nagua, María Trinidad Sánchez province.
n” “nHis cousin, Geral Isa, expressed the pain that the family is going through and highlighted his commitment to social and environmental causes.
n” “n“This situation has hurt us a lot because he was a person who gave everything for the Dominican people. He spent around 40 years defending the environment and helping people. He was a leader who always thought of others,” he stated.

n” “nPreliminarily, Geral indicated that the hypothesis of a possible cardiac arrest is being handled as the cause of death, although he clarified that they are awaiting the official autopsy results to confirm it.
