Bayaguana.– Mrs. Vickiana Vásquez reported that agents of the General Directorate of Migration who were carrying out an operation this Friday in the municipality of Bayaguana, allegedly broke into the house where she resides, causing damage to the property.
As explained by the affected person, the agents would have forced and broken the door of her house, as well as that of another neighbor in the sector Los Suizos. Vásquez assured that no people of Haitian nationality reside in that area, so she was surprised by the actions of the members of the operation. The complainant indicated that at the time of the event she was not in the house, as she was in the capital fulfilling her work day. However, upon returning, she noticed the damage to the door and that approximately 3,000 pesos were missing, money she had saved for the payment of the rent of the house where she resides. Vásquez stated that he is awaiting a response from the relevant authorities so that what happened can be investigated and responsibilities determined for the damage caused to his property and the alleged theft of the money.
