Tourism begins construction of a photo-op park-parador in Las Clavellinas, Azua

Azua.– The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, initiated this Thursday the construction work of a photographic park-parador in the municipal district Las Clavellinas, Azua province, with an investment of RD$22,172,000. The work is part of the interventions carried out by the Ministry of Tourism in different communities of the country with the aim of promoting urban beautification and strengthening local development. The project contemplates the construction of a park-parador that will serve as a reference point and welcome to the municipal district Las Clavellinas, with a total construction area of “1,488 meters” square. Furthermore, it includes a road and urban intervention in an area of influence of 1,391.62 square meters, which will include road asphalting and sidewalk reconstruction.

During the event, Minister Collado highlighted the importance of the initiative for the community and assured that it responds to a request made by residents of the area. “With this small work we address a community demand and reaffirm our vision of bringing tourism to every corner”, the official expressed. The project also includes the construction of a concrete sign, pedestrian sidewalks, curbs, paving work, lighting, and landscaping areas. It will also have street furniture, including concrete benches, trash cans, and horizontal and vertical signage. Authorities reported that the works will include reconstruction of gutters, sewers and road intervention in the surroundings of the park-parador. Community representatives and local authorities thanked the Ministry of Tourism for the start of the work, highlighting that it will contribute to the beautification and development of the area.
