One of the most significant moments was the visit to the Presidential Palace, where the students were received by Vice President Raquel Peña, and the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, José Ignacio Paliza. Both highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between the country and the diaspora, and expressed the government’s willingness to support programs that allow Dominicans abroad to complete their university studies and contribute to national development.
The agenda also included visits to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCYT), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), the Chamber of Deputies, the Telemicro television group and PUCMM itself, where participants had the opportunity to get a close look at the functioning of the main state, academic and media structures of the country. You can also read: Vice President Raquel Peña gives a conference in La Altagracia

At the end of the day, both authorities and students positively valued the experience, which not only enriched the academic training of the participants, but also reaffirmed CESUDEX’s mission to serve as an academic and cultural bridge between the Dominican diaspora and the institutions of their country of origin, thus consolidating a vision of education without borders.
