Santo Domingo.- The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, issued Decree No. 134-26, through which he appoints General Juan Hilario Guzmán Badía, P.N., as the new rector of the Police Education Institute (IPE).

The General Juan Hilario Guzmán Badía, P.N. is a high-ranking officer of the National Police with a career linked to modernization and institutional strengthening processes within the law enforcement agency.

Before being appointed rector of the Police Education Institute (IPE) by Decree 134-26 by President Luis Abinader, he served as deputy director general of the National Police and central director of Police Transformation, a position from which he participated in initiatives aimed at the reform, professionalization and structural improvement of the institution. Your profile has been linked to the implementation of strategic changes in the training of agents, strengthening of protocols, and updating of internal processes, within the framework of the police reform process promoted in recent years in the Dominican Republic.
