Central American countries celebrate their 204th anniversary of independence in Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo.- The embassies of Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and El Salvador commemorated this Thursday in Santo Domingo the 204th anniversary of Central American independence, in an event filled with symbolism, cultural identity, and regional unity. The activity brought together the diplomatic representatives of these five nations, who celebrated together more than two centuries of independence, reaffirming the historic bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between their peoples. During the ceremony, the national anthems of each country were performed, in a gesture of respect for individual identities within the framework of a shared history. The event also included the presentation of souvenirs alluding to each nation, as a symbol of its cultural richness and common values.

This meeting not only commemorated the Central American independence process, but also highlighted the collective will to continue strengthening the principles of integration, freedom, and sustainable development in the region.
