The measurement places the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) with 43% preference above the People’s Force (Fuerza del Pueblo) and the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD).
SANTO DOMINGO.- The Minister of Tourism, David Collado, leads with 62% of the preferences among supporters of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) to obtain the presidential candidacy of that organization, according to the most recent voting intention tracking measurement by CID Latin America, corresponding to September 2026.
According to the data, Collado leads the mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía, by 41 percentage points, who registers 21%.

Further back appear Vice President Raquel Peña, with 9%; the director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewerage (Inapa), Wellington Arnaud, with 6%; the president of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel), Guido Gómez Mazara, with 2%, and Tony Peña Guaba, with less than 1%.
According to the measurement, the five remaining candidates together total 38%, while David Collado alone concentrates 62% of the preferences among the PRM supporters consulted.
PRM leads party preference
The survey also measured party preference among those consulted. Excluding the responses of those who indicated they did not prefer any party, left the question blank, or said they did not know, the PRM registers 43%, followed by the Fuerza del Pueblo, with 26%, and the PLD, with 20%.
