Santo Domingo. – The main avenues of the capital remain clear on New Year’s Eve, with reduced vehicular traffic and the circulation of only a few citizens traveling in their vehicles.

During a tour conducted by De Último Minuto, it was found that avenues such as Abraham Lincoln, López de Vega, Tiradentes and Máximo Gómez have little traffic, a situation that is not common on weekdays, but common in the hours before the end-of-year celebration.

Likewise, the Malecón of Santo Domingo was observed with little traffic, while a light rain falls on different parts of the city, which has contributed to many people staying in their homes.
