Passports will move its headquarters to the former Teleantillas building for RD$10 million monthly

Santo Domingo.- The General Passport Directorate (DGP) will move its main office to the former Teleantillas location, a decision that will represent a monthly expense of nearly RD$10 million in rent. The property, owned by the Closed Development Investment Fund Reservas I since 2023, was awarded through a lease agreement with an option to purchase for a total value of 5.9 million dollars (equivalent to RD$360.7 million), calculated with the Central Bank’s official rate as of July 21, 2025 (RD$60.86 per dollar).

The agreement will be valid for three years, during which the state institution will operate from the new space, located in one of the most central areas of Santo Domingo.
