Police kill two alleged criminals “Cacón” and “El Locón” during a robbery in Santiago

Santiago.- Agents of the National Police killed two alleged criminals on Monday afternoon during a robbery that occurred in the Los Santos neighborhood of Santiago. The deceased, who were wanted for various robberies, were identified as Angelo Acevedo Cabrera, alias “Locon“, and Marcos de Jesús Santos, known as “Cacon“, both 20 years old. The acting coroner in the case certified the deaths of both due to multiple gunshot wounds.

The alleged exchange of gunfire occurred at the moment the patrol was following a white Sonata car, then to those allegedly accused of committing a robbery at a business and others of robberies, as well as assaulting a uniformed member. Amid a police contingent, the lifeless bodies were transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding legal purposes. So far, the authorities have not offered details about the death of the men who were part of a list released by the police in which they were actively sought for a criminal record.
