Santo Domingo. – The United States Embassy in the Dominican Republic announced that the application process for the Global Entry program is open, an initiative that allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to enter U.S. territory more quickly and efficiently, avoiding long lines at airports.
According to official information, Global Entry is part of the Trusted Traveler Programs administered by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Approved members can use automated kiosks upon arrival in the United States, which significantly streamlines the immigration control process.

The embassy explained that the application cost is 120 dollars, while the membership is valid for five years. All applicants must undergo a thorough background check and meet the requirements established by the US authorities to be considered eligible.
