The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Wednesday, September 23, as follows:
In the Financial Entities sector, the average rate recorded for the euro stood at RD$66.39 for purchase and RD$70.46 for sale.
At the counters of Remittance and Exchange Agents, the average rate was set at RD$67.19 for purchase and RD$68.93 for sale.
The retail foreign exchange market for the euro recorded marginal variations in its average quotes during today’s session.
In the long-term comparison, the figures confirm a solid trend of appreciation of the national currency against the European currency, accumulating gains of between 7.7% and 9.2% compared to the close of 2025 and with respect to the quotes from a year ago.
