Actor Juan Carlos García at the Billboard Awards: “Dominican Republic has always been important to me”
Actor Juan Carlos García expressed his love for the Dominican Republic during Billboard Week 2025 in Miami.
Miami, FL.- The renowned Venezuelan actor Juan Carlos García expressed his appreciation for the Dominican Republic during his participation in Billboard’s 2025 Week, held in the city of Miami.
Known for his roles in soap operas such as “La Mujer de Judas”, and “Ángela Pecado”, García affirmed that he maintains a special bond with the Dominican public since the beginning of his career, as it was one of the first countries outside his own that made him understand the impact of his performances.
In an interview given to the media outlet De Último Minuto, the actor highlighted the reception he has received in Dominican territory, both personally and professionally, expressing himself in the love and support they give to his television productions.
“Dominican Republic is a country that I always carry in my heart because it has opened doors for me not only to do work there, but it has also warmly welcomed each of the productions in which I have participated”, said the actor.
García expressed that each visit to the Caribbean country generates a feeling of closeness with Venezuela, his nation of origin, highlighting that he was surprised to learn of the popularity of his soap operas on Dominican soil.
“First, very surprised by the love, then seeing it with much respect, because they value your work a lot and I love the Dominican Republic, the Dominican beaches, the Dominican people, through my novels I had the opportunity to do things there,” she added.
García’s statements were made within the framework of Billboard Week 2025, which in that edition brings together prominent figures from the Latin entertainment industry and serves as a platform to strengthen the projection between artists and their fans internationally.
