Santo Domingo.– The typical music phenomenon El Blachy, showed his most human and supportive side, by sharing through an emotional video on his social networks, the great news that he will assume the maintenance of 2 orphaned girls, the product of the tragedy of the Jet Set disco.
The interpreter of “Hola Perdida” revealed that he will assume from now on the tuition costs of the two girls, aged 3 and 9, who lost both parents in the tragedy, and will also provide a monthly pension of RD$25,000 pesos to the grandmother of the infants who is in their care, so that they lack nothing.
“Dios me ha bendecido y me está usando como instrumento para que no les falte nada a estas niñas y yo le voy a encargar de que no les falte nada, su ropa, su colegio, sus Reyes Magos y navidad, yo me encargaré”,
expresó el artista.
This shared that the decision to assume this commitment with both girls arose after the impact that the tragedy had on him, also because he felt reflected in two of his girls who coincidentally are the same age.
In an act of empathy, the artist revealed the good news, assuring that the reason for making it public is to urge other artists, entrepreneurs, and media personalities to be able to symbolically adopt one of the more than 170 children who were orphaned after losing their parents on April 8th in the collapse of the Jet Set roof.
“When I found out, I immediately thought of my children because I have two girls and two moved me, because I have two girls of the same age, I couldn’t help but imagine the pain of this family,” she expressed.
This laudable action by El Blachy highlights his human quality and great empathy, demonstrating that his greatness goes beyond his popularity and talent in the music industry.
Other figures from national public life have also joined this significant gesture of solidarity, including financial specialist Juan Carlos Guilbe and communicator and actress Hony Estrella, who also, last April, took on the maintenance of 5 orphaned girls, also as a result of the Jet Set tragedy, in the community of Haina.
