Hours before the Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 concert, thousands begin to fill the Cibao Stadium in Santiago
Santiago.- A few hours before the start of Juan Luis Guerra 4.40’s first concert at the Cibao Stadium, thousands of fans are beginning to arrive at the emblematic baseball park to witness the long-awaited show that marks the massive return of the Dominican singer-songwriter to the Heart City, after more than 20 years without mass performances in this venue.
From the early hours of the afternoon of this Friday, a constant flow of people is observed in the surroundings of the stadium, while the last technical details of the assembly are advanced. The stage is already installed and the staff is working on sound and lighting adjustments for a show that promises to be loaded with emotion and a wide repertoire of hits.
The concert this Friday, February 20th, inaugurates two consecutive nights in this city, the 20th and 21st, where music will replace the baseball routine in the home of the Cibaeñas Eagles.
According to the event producer, an approximate attendance of 18,000 people per night is expected, which would represent about 40,000 spectators in total during both performances.
The show is shaping up to be a journey through the songs that have solidified Juan Luis Guerra’s artistic career as a benchmark of Latin music.
