“See you later, mother. God has called you to a place where there is no more pain. I will never forgive myself for not being present at your last birthday, I wish I had imagined that we would not celebrate another year, and even so, you gave me the privilege of leaving to the light, holding my hand,” wrote Cruz next to a photograph in which she appears hugging her mother.
