Israel and Iran are in their fourth day of military exchanges since the Israeli army bombed several key targets of the Iranian nuclear program last Friday.
Israeli attacks have resulted in 224 deaths and more than 1,000 injuries in Iranian territory, according to local sources, while Tehran has responded with operations that have claimed at least 24 lives in Israel. The escalation marks the first direct military confrontation of this magnitude between the two countries after decades of indirect war. U.S. President Donald Trump urged both countries to “reach an agreement,” while Turkey and Russia called for an immediate end to hostilities.
