Europe.- Several forest fires are affecting different areas of Europe this Friday, leaving dozens of people injured and thousands of residents and tourists evacuated, especially in Croatia, France, and Germany.
In Croatia, at least 36 people were injured, ten of them seriously, due to a forest fire that reached several residential areas on the country’s coast, authorities reported.

The fire forced the evacuation of more than 2,000 tourists and residents, while emergency teams work to contain the flames and prevent them from continuing to advance toward other populated areas.
The Croatian fire chief, Slavko Tucakovic, described the incident as “one of the worst fires in the history of Croatia” and noted that the flames have consumed between 900 and 1,000 hectares of land.
The situation has also triggered emergency measures in other parts of the continent. In France and Germany, authorities have ordered evacuations in areas threatened by fires, while firefighters and emergency teams remain deployed to combat active hotspots.
High temperatures, dry conditions, and strong winds have complicated extinction efforts and increased the risk of fire spread in several European regions.
The authorities maintain surveillance and recommend that the population follow the instructions of emergency agencies regarding the evolution of the incidents.
