Bogotá.- The Colombian senator and presidential pre-candidate Miguel Uribe Turbay was urgently transferred for neurosurgical surgery this Monday after detecting an “acute intracerebral hemorrhage”, reported the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, the clinic where he has been hospitalized since the attack he suffered on June 7. According to the second medical report of the day released at the request of his family, the medical team made the decision after “clinical and imaging evidence that alerted to the new bleeding”, which forced an immediate intervention. Uribe Turbay, 39 years old, remains in critical condition since he was wounded with two shots to the head and one to the left leg during a political event in Bogotá, for which he has undergone several surgeries, the last one this morning.
