Two Israeli embassy officials died during a shooting this Wednesday night outside an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Northwest Washington D.C., reported Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
“Two employees of the Israeli embassy have been senselessly murdered tonight near the Jewish Museum of Washington DC. We are actively investigating and working to obtain more information to share. Please pray for the victims’ families,” Noem stated in a message on the social network X.
“We will bring this depraved perpetrator to justice,” he emphasized.
The suspect was arrested by the authorities.
