LOS ANGELES (EFE).– The 2026 FIFA World Cup continues this Friday with the second quarter-final match, as Spain and Belgium clash at Los Angeles Stadium in search of a spot among the top four teams in the tournament.

The encounter, corresponding to match 98 of the championship, will be played at 19:00 GMT (3:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 p.m. in Spain) in a stadium with a capacity for 70,240 spectators.
Spain reaches this stage after eliminating Portugal in the round of 16 and will seek to return to a World Cup semifinal with the hope of winning its second World Cup, following the title obtained in South Africa 2010.
The team led by Luis de la Fuente has as its main reference the young Lamine Yamal, one of the great figures of the tournament and a key piece in La Roja’s attack.
For its part, Belgium faces the match after leaving the United States behind and keeps alive the dream of playing in the first World Cup final in its history.
The team of the Frenchman Rudi García relies on the leadership of midfielder Nicolas Raskin, one of the most outstanding players of the Red Devils during the competition.
