Santo Domingo. – The excitement of the 2026 World Baseball Classic continues this Friday with the start of the quarterfinals, with two attractive matchups scheduled in the cities of Miami and Houston.

In the first game of the day, the Dominican Republic will face South Korea at 6:30 PM (Eastern Time) in Miami. The Dominican team will act as the home team in this important match. For this pitching duel, pitcher Cristopher Sánchez is announced for the Dominican squad and Hyun Jin Ryu for South Korea. Later, in Houston, the United States and Canada will face each other at 8:00 PM (ET). In this match, the Canadian team will act as the home club. The game will have Logan Webb as the starters for the United States and Michael Soroka for Canada.
