The award covered the period from August 25 to 31, 2025, where Devers exhibited a .478 average (11 hits in 23 at-bats), three home runs, 10 RBIs, two doubles, four walks, and nine runs scored in six games. His offensive production led him to lead Major League Baseball in slugging and OPS (1.513), as well as tie for the lead in total bases (22) and RBIs. The 28-year-old third baseman, a three-time All-Star and 2018 World Series champion, capped off his week with a three-hit game and a home run against Baltimore, thus adding his 29th home run of the season.
