Ramírez achieved the historic mark during the 6-5 victory in extra innings of the Cleveland Guardians over the Seattle Mariners, in a game in which he was once again a key player in his team’s offense. With this milestone, the stellar third baseman from Baní continues to consolidate one of the most consistent and productive careers of his generation in Major League Baseball.
The game was decided in the tenth inning thanks to a home run by rookie Chase DeLauter, while Cleveland’s bullpen managed to contain Seattle in the final innings to secure the victory.
With his 400 doubles, Ramírez joins a prestigious list of Dominican legends, headed by names like Albert Pujols, Adrián Beltré, and David Ortiz, who lead the historical list among Dominican players.
