Alcántara finished the night 4-3, raising his unstoppable hits in the Round Robin to ten, surpassing the nine he connected during the Regular Season. His RBI double in the eighth inning broke the tie and sealed the Taurino victory. Eric Filia also contributed to the orange cause by driving in two runs with a double, while Eloy Jiménez added a two-base hit that drove in a run. With that double, Jiménez tied the historical mark for most doubles hit in a Round Robin with nine, matching the record set by Jerry Brooks in the 1994-95 season with the Azucareros del Este. From the bullpen, Yaramil Hiraldo (2-1, 1.29) earned the victory after pitching a scoreless inning with two strikeouts. Joe Corbett earned his seventh save of the semifinal, while Christopher Molina (0-3, 3.86) took the loss. With this triumph, the Toros del Este improve their record to 11-7 and remain in second place in the Round Robin, awaiting the outcome of the game between Águilas Cibaeñas and Leones del Escogido, which was postponed due to rain. A victory for the Leones would automatically grant the taurinos their pass to the seventh Final Series in their history.
