Port-au-Prince.- The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) announced this Tuesday that Grupo Bigio (GB Group) will be the official sponsor of the U-17 men’s national team, which will participate in the FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar in November 2025.
The agreement represents a decisive step in the preparation of the young “Granaderos”, who will have a comprehensive program of training, camps and preparation matches, with the aim of arriving in the best conditions to the World Cup.
“Thanks to the support of Grupo Bigio, this promising generation will be able to shine on the international stage and proudly position the country among the great football nations,” highlighted the FHF in a statement.
The Bigio Group emphasized that this collaboration goes beyond financial support, considering it an investment in Haitian youth, whom it described as talented, resilient, and inspiring.
“Football must be a driver of unity, discipline, and national pride. Every sporting success can become a source of collective hope,” the company noted, while calling on the private sector to join this effort.
A call for national unity
The FHF and the Bigio Group invited the Haitian people to accompany the U-17 national team on this path to the World Cup, highlighting that the team’s success depends not only on the players and the coaching staff, but also on the commitment of the entire nation.
“Believing in our youth means believing in the future of Haiti,” the statement indicated, in which the Bigio Group was thanked for its “exemplary commitment” and the Haitian people for their unwavering support.
