The Knicks spoil the Spurs’ party and take the lead in the Finals

San Antonio.- The New York Knicks stormed the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio this Wednesday and, with 30 points from Jalen Brunson, won 105-95 against the Spurs and took a 1-0 lead in the NBA Finals, the second game of which will be played on Friday at this same venue.

The Knicks extended their extraordinary run of form and, with character and talent, sealed their twelfth consecutive victory in these ‘playoffs’, after eliminating the Atlanta Hawks and sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-0 on their way to their first Finals in 27 years.

The Spurs succumbed despite the 26 points and 12 rebounds from Frenchman Victor Wembanyama, in his debut in an NBA Finals after being the Western Conference Finals MVP. West.
