Paris, France.- The Dominican Republic made the difference in the inauguration of the international fair IFTM Top Resa 2025, by highlighting not only as a special guest country, but also with the arrival by bicycle of the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, who headed the official delegation at the opening ceremony.

The minister’s gesture was part of the “Everyone on bikes” initiative, organized by the fair to promote sustainable mobility as a fundamental axis of the tourism industry. Collado, accompanied by representatives from different countries and entrepreneurs in the sector, toured the surroundings of the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center, where the event takes place until September 25.

“The Dominican Republic is committed to tourism that embraces sustainability. Arriving by bicycle today symbolizes that effort to promote new forms of mobility and to project the country in line with global trends,” Collado said at the beginning of the day. The Dominican pavilion, under the slogan “Dominican Republic, everything you dream of,” exhibits the cultural, gastronomic, and natural diversity of the country, within the framework of a fair that brings together more than 200 destinations and that this year pays special attention to responsible tourism. With its participation as guest of honor, the Caribbean nation seeks to reinforce its positioning in the European market, expand air connectivity, and attract new tourism investments aligned with the principles of sustainability.
