SANTO DOMINGO.- For this Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) forecasts that the weather in Dominican Republic will start the day with mostly dry and sunny conditions in a large part of the national territory, influenced by an anticyclonic system in combination with an air mass loaded with Saharan dust. During the afternoon, local effects such as daytime heating and orography could generate cloud cover increases accompanied by isolated showers and occasional thunderstorms, especially in areas of the southeast region, the Central Mountain Range, and some border areas. Regarding international conditions, a low-pressure system near the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Peninsula, and the east coast of the United States is being monitored, with a low probability of cyclonic development: 0% in the next 48 hours and 20% in seven days.
