Santo Domingo.- The Santo Domingo 2025 International Book Fair, which concludes this Sunday, has represented a valuable showcase for 41 Dominican authors, who found in the Business Room an opportunity to project their work beyond national borders. This space, conceived as one of the central attractions of the event, established itself as a bridge between local literary creation and foreign publishers interested in its dissemination and commercialization. Among the novelties of this edition, the participation, for the first time, of the digital publishing and reading platform Bubok stood out, with the purpose of offering Dominican publishers new tools to expand their reach.

Likewise, literary agents and audiobook service companies joined in, interested in adapting various works by national authors to the audio format.

As part of this dynamic, an international literary agent gave training workshops to local colleagues, sharing experiences and knowledge that enrich the editorial work. Dominican literature thus boosts its international projection through the Business Room of the FILSD 2025, which has established itself as an ideal space for dialogue and the conclusion of publication, translation, and rights transfer agreements.
