CALI.- Within the framework of his presidential inauguration speech for the 2026-2030 term, held at the Pichincha Military Canton and broadcast from the Arena of the Santiago de Cali University, President Abelardo de la Espriella announced a serious process to identify the main centers of corruption in the country and praised the work of Vice President José Manuel Restrepo.
Fight against corruption
The president assured that during the last few months his team carried out diagnostic work to address the irregularities in the State.
“Over the last few months, we carried out a serious and transparent process to identify the main centers of corruption,” stated De la Espriella to the attendees and the country.
The president dedicated a special aside to recognize the Vice President of the Republic, whom he described as a key partner in his government project.
“I want to express my recognition to the Vice President of the Republic, my friend, my fellow fighter, my brother in this battle, Dr. José Manuel Restrepo,” he noted.
