Army celebrates the graduation of 575 new soldiers from the 1st and 2nd Promotion of Conscripts 2025
Santo Domingo. – The Army of Dominican Republic (ERD) held the graduation ceremony of 575 new soldiers belonging to the First and Second Promotion of Conscripts 2025 of the Major General Fernando A. Sánchez Battalion EN., in an event held at the General Directorate of Education, Training and Military Training, located in San Isidro, Santo Domingo Este.
The graduation ceremony was headed by the General Commander, Major General Jorge Iván Camino Pérez, who was accompanied by the members of the Coordinating General Staff of the institution.
The 575 new soldiers successfully completed their basic military training cycle, developed over a period of six months.
The corresponding request for permission to officially begin the ceremony was made by the director of the training center, Colonel Pascual González Espiritusanto, subsequently giving way to the entrance of the graduates.
While the blessing of the act was in charge of the Senior Military Chaplain Alexis Devers Reyes.
The diploma delivery was carried out by representation and was in charge of Major General Camino Pérez, who granted the recognition to Private Erick Emmanuel López Morón on behalf of all graduates.
Subsequently, the General Commander addressed a message of exhortation to the new soldiers, emphasizing the pride of wearing the institution’s uniform, stating that it is a career of sacrifices, which at the same time grants what should be the greatest of satisfactions, service to the homeland.
Subsequently, he proceeded to take the oath, thus formalizing his promotion to the rank of privates in the Dominican Republic Army.
In the ceremony, the Inspector General of the Army, Brigadier General Rafael Antonio Núñez Veloz, and other members of the Coordinating and Special General Staff participated, as well as senior, junior, and enlisted officers.
In addition, family members and special guests were present, who accompanied and celebrated with the graduates.
