Puerto Plata– Authorities continue to advance in the investigation related to the death of the girl Brianna Genao González, who disappeared since last December 31 in the Barrero sector, municipality of Imbert, Puerto Plata province, a case that has generated consternation in the community and nationally.
According to information obtained by CDN, some of the elements supporting the investigative process would be contained in
recordings made by investigators from the Northern Regional Directorate of the National Police in Puerto Plata, in conjunction with representatives of the Public Ministry.
Alleged individuals involved in custody
According to the available data,
Reyes Núñez Rosario would have admitted to his brother his participation in the events, indicating that he should not worry, since the minor’s body would have been disappeared, under the argument that “without a body there is no crime.” These statements would be part of the material collected during the interrogations.
The authorities identified Reyes Núñez Rosario and Rafael Núñez Rosario as alleged suspects, who reside in the same community where the minor disappeared. Both remain in custody while investigations are expanded and testimonial and technical evidence that make up the judicial file is collected.
Investigations and search for remains continue
Authorities reported that they are maintaining
search operations in different areas of the zone, because the body of the minor has not yet been located. The work includes ground surveys, interviews with community members, and forensic analysis, with the aim of fully clarifying what happened.
The case is handled with
strict confidentiality, given its seriousness and because it involves a minor. It is expected that in the coming hours the
Public Ministry will offer official information on the course of the process and the legal actions that will be taken against those responsible.
