Puerto Rico. – The Institute of Political, Legal and Social Training (ICAP) presented a special recognition on Wednesday afternoon to the governor of Puerto Rico, Jennifer González Colón, for her supportive gesture towards the Dominican people during the tragedy that occurred at the Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo.

The distinction was presented by the director of ICAP, Máximo Miñoso, who highlighted Puerto Rico’s willingness to send a team of Volunteer Firefighters to collaborate with the rescue efforts, at a time of great pain and difficulty for the Dominican nation.

This recognition is part of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of ICAP, an institution that has strengthened its ties with Puerto Rico through its participation in academic and legal events, such as the congresses organized by the Puerto Rico Bar Association. This collaboration has been driven by Dominican lawyers Hanfiel Polanco and Máximo Miñoso.
