Mon Laferte achieves the largest audience of the Viña del Mar Festival 2026 and receives the Platinum Seagull

The performance by Chilean singer Mon Laferte became one of the most memorable moments of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2026, captivating the audience at the Quinta Vergara and marking the highest television audience recorded in this edition of the contest. During her performance at the emblematic Quinta Vergara, the artist was cheered by thousands of attendees, who awarded her performance with the Silver Seagull and the Gold Seagull. Subsequently, and before the euphoria of the public, she became the sixth artist to receive the prestigious Platinum Seagull, one of the highest recognitions of the festival.

The show’s success was felt not only on stage, but also on screen. Mon Laferte’s performance reached an average audience of 2,165,095 viewers per minute throughout her performance. In addition, it recorded a peak of 2,535,747 viewers, the highest figure since the change in the measurement system implemented in April 2025.

In contrast, the rest of the channels barely exceeded 219,000 viewers per minute while the artist’s show was being broadcast, which shows the strong impact of her performance on the audience. With this achievement, Mon Laferte reaffirms her place as one of the most influential figures in Latin American music and leaves one of the most memorable performances of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2026.
