Santo Domingo.– The National Council of the Magistracy (CNM) chose this Friday the new judges who will become part of the Supreme Court of Justice, as part of the evaluation and strengthening process of the high judicial body.
The selected magistrates are Edison Francisco Alarcón Polanco, Miguelina Ureña Núñez, Manuel Aurelio Victoria, Yorlin Lisett Vásquez Castro and Namphi Andrés Rodríguez, who will assume functions in the Supreme Court of Justice in accordance with the Constitution and current laws.

Likewise, the CNM reported that Nancy Salcedo, secretary of the National Council of the Magistracy, was designated as the second alternate of the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Luis Henry Molina.
With these designations, the National Council of the Magistracy reaffirms its commitment to the institutional strengthening of the judicial system and the consolidation of an independent and efficient justice.
