Santo Domingo. – A group of citizens waiting their turn at the Hospital Marcelino Velez Santana, Herrera, apprehended Elvis Rafael Jiménez Castillo, 44, in the act, after catching him stealing the cell phone of a woman waiting for assistance in said health center through carelessness.
The fact, which was recorded in a video spread on social media and generated great outrage, shows the rapid and decisive action of those present, who prevented the escape of the alleged offender and proceeded to immediately hand him over to the National Police.
Upon receiving it, the acting agents recovered the stolen cell phone, which will be delivered to its rightful owner once the corresponding legal process is completed.
