Vatican City.– In an emotional event held in the Paul VI Audience Hall, after the public audience, the Dominican ambassador to the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta, Víctor Suárez Díaz, and his wife, Alfa Kenia Núñez, received a special blessing from His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, on the occasion of the celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary.

The ceremony brought together family, friends, and Dominican foreign service officials accredited to the Vatican, in an encounter filled with spirituality and gratitude. The moment was witnessed by their children, Laura Victoria and Víctor José, who accompanied their parents on this significant occasion, symbolizing the continuity of love and family values that have guided the couple for a quarter of a century. During the blessing, the Holy Father highlighted the importance of the family as an essential foundation for building a more humane and supportive world. “True love is a light that guides our lives,” expressed the Pontiff, in a message that moved those present.
