The National Civil Police (PNC) of El Salvador intercepted a boat coming from Nicaraguan waters with a shipment of 450 kilograms of cocaine, according to what the Salvadoran Minister of Security, Gustavo Villatoro, reported on X. The official specified that “a boat-type launch, flying the Guatemalan flag, from Nicaragua, was intercepted off the coast of Isla de Méndez, Usulután”, in the east of the country, and that the drugs have an estimated value of 11.3 million dollars. “As a result of the operation, the flagrant arrest of the Salvadorans Robin Eduardo Cruz Valle and Jonathan Alexis Cruz Valle was carried out for the crime of illicit trafficking,” he indicated.
