Monte Plata. –Early this Wednesday morning, an unknown person perpetrated the theft of a bucket full of pigeon peas that was in the back of the truck of the former mayor of Bayaguana, Cristian Julio García (El Nacy).
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred while the vehicle was parked in front of his residence, located on Mella Street in the municipality of Bayaguana, near the corner of Santo Cristo. The theft was captured on a security camera. The individual allegedly took advantage of the darkness of the early morning to steal the bucket and leave the scene.
Authorities reported that they have indications about the identity of the alleged perpetrator, so they are currently carrying out investigations to find his whereabouts and proceed with his arrest.
Faced with the situation, the person involved was called upon to surrender through the means they deem appropriate, in order to answer to justice for the act committed.
