The Aida Sol and Brilliance of the Seas cruise ships, the first to coincide jointly since the opening of the tourist terminal Santo Domingo. – President Luis Abinader highlighted this Friday an unprecedented event for Dominican tourism, reporting the simultaneous arrival of two cruise ships at the port of Cabo Rojo, in Pedernales, at 9:20 in the morning, with a total of 4,679 passengers who will tour the cultural, historical and community offerings of the province. Through his account on X, the president celebrated the event as “a historic day for Pedernales“, welcoming the cruise ships Aida Sol and Brilliance of the Seas, the first to coincide jointly since the opening of the tourist terminal.

The Head of State highlighted that this milestone confirms the progress of tourism development in the southern region and the positive impact of the Cabo Rojo project, which continues to position Pedernales as a new pole of growth and opportunities for its inhabitants.
